Hey everyone! This is our new rabbit, Storm!

He is a 3 month old blue Silver Fox buck, which we plan to breed in the future. We will be getting a female Silver Fox from the same breeder in the Spring, which will be very exciting.

So what is a Silver Fox rabbit???
It is one of the only true American-origin rabbit breeds that was created in the early 1900s. Named for its silver-ticked fur, it was primarily made to be a fur and meat rabbit, but was also kept as a pet because of its beauty and friendly temperament.
These guys can get up to 10 – 12 pounds as adults. They come In the colors black, chocolate and more uncommonly, blue.
